According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica are said to have submitted an official offer of about 20 million euros to Lecce for centre-back Tiago Gabriel. The Italian club are not minded to sell at that figure, indicating an asking price of 25 to 30 million euros.

The 21-year-old Portuguese youth international has been linked with Benfica in recent weeks after a breakout campaign with Lecce. In 2025/26 he made 39 appearances and scored two goals.

Ruben Amorim’s Milan have also been mentioned among the suitors. However, the Rossoneri are said to be very close to signing Mario Gila, a scenario that could take them out of the race.

Juventus and Bournemouth have likewise been credited with interest as the defender’s market value continues to rise.

Tiago Gabriel joined Lecce in January 2025 from Estrela da Amadora in a move valued at about 1.25 million euros. In one and a half seasons in Italy he has become a key figure, helping explain Lecce’s stance on a summer sale.
