Benfica are set to receive around 53.1 million euros from this season's Champions League despite an early exit, making it the club's fifth-highest European revenue.

According to Glorioso 1904, their play-off defeat in Madrid ended the campaign and denied an estimated extra 11 million euros. The final amount will be confirmed in UEFA's next financial report.

The total is below last season's 71.4 million euros, when Benfica reached the round of 16.

Only four seasons have brought in more, namely 2022/2023 at 73.9 million, 2024/2025 at 71.4 million, 2021/2022 at 65.8 million and 2018/2019 at 54.1 million.

The 53.1 million is split across participation in the league phase at 18.62 million, coefficient and television market share at 23.26 million, and sporting performance at 11.22 million. These components reflect results on the pitch and the club's historical and commercial weight.

Domestically, Sporting currently have a higher guaranteed figure in this edition, with 67.09 million euros secured before facing Bodo Glimt in the round of 16.
