According to A Bola, Benfica have not given up on re-signing Rafa Silva and are now open to paying a fee to Besiktas. The former Benfica winger is a priority target for José Mourinho.

Talks between the clubs are ongoing, and Besiktas have kept the winger working separately from the rest of the squad.

Benfica had sought to avoid a transfer payment, but their initial stance may soften to unlock an agreement acceptable to all sides.

The clubs are also in active discussions over Jurásek, the Czech left-back on loan at Besiktas from Benfica, who is set to join Slavia Prague permanently. That parallel deal could help facilitate progress on Rafa Silva.

Any move for André Luiz or Wesley would not affect Benfica’s pursuit of the former Portugal international. Mourinho values Rafa Silva’s profile and believes he would offer immediate quality and experience in attack.

Rafa Silva is valued at around five million euros and has played 16 games for Besiktas this season, 10 in the Süper Lig, four in the Europa Conference League and two in Europa League qualifying. He has 1,360 minutes, five goals and three assists, and is under contract until June 2028.
