Benfica have unveiled a Vhils-collaboration kit with a playful launch video fronted by Dodi Lukébakio. According to Glorioso 1904, the shirt nods to street football, which the club frames as a starting point for many players.
The team debuted the strip in the 3-0 win over AVS, presenting a new look and reinforcing their visual concept for the season.
Created with Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto, known as Vhils, the jersey forms part of the 2025/26 collection. The club made the request to Liga Portugal’s marketing about two weeks before the match to debut the new kit.
On social media, the launch film cast Lukébakio in an Arsène Lupin inspired mission alongside António Silva, Henrique Araújo, João Rego, Diogo Prioste and Anísio. The post drew a strong response from supporters.
Former Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio posted on Instagram that he wanted one of the shirts, underlining the immediate impact among fans.
Under Vhils’ creative direction, the design incorporates his visual language, including a fragment of the eagle’s wing, purple accents and layered textures that evoke Benfica’s generations, triumphs and stories.
