Besiktas have signed Dusan Vlahovic after he left Juventus and have also secured an agreement to sign Fabio Miretti from the Bianconeri this season. Their next target, however, could be a player Juventus have been hoping to add to their own squad.
The Turkish side have significant money to spend during this transfer window and continue to use it to satisfy their manager, Vincenzo Italiano. They still have more business to complete, and their next move could directly affect Juventus as they look to sign Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid.
According to Tuttojuve, Besiktas are looking to bring Diaz to Turkiye, putting them in direct competition with Juventus for his signature. The midfielder has been on the Bianconeri’s radar for some time, and the Old Lady had hoped to add him to their squad as he may not be an important part of Jose Mourinho’s plans at the Spanish club.
Besiktas are now in the running as they continue their efforts to attract players from the top European leagues to their squad in Turkiye. Their financial strength could give them an advantage over Juventus during negotiations for Diaz.

Besiktas are expected to offer Diaz more money than Juventus, which could make their proposal difficult for the Bianconeri to match. The midfielder also has experience in Serie A, meaning he already knows the demands of Italian football, but a move to Turkiye could offer him the opportunity to experience a new challenge.
That possibility would represent a blow to Juventus, who have been monitoring Diaz for some time. The Old Lady will hope that the midfielder’s desire to remain in one of Europe’s top leagues ultimately works in their favour.
Diaz could decide that staying in one of the leading European leagues is the best option for his career, and Juventus remain an attractive destination if that is his preference. The Bianconeri are one of the top clubs on the continent and could therefore still convince him to choose Turin over Turkiye.
Besiktas have already demonstrated their willingness to spend heavily during this transfer window, and their interest in Diaz could create another problem for Juventus. The Turkish side’s financial advantage gives them a genuine opportunity, but the final decision will rest with Diaz.
Juventus will therefore hope the midfielder prioritises remaining in one of Europe’s top leagues, which could keep their hopes of signing him alive.
