Besiktas ‘to pay’ €20m for Lukebakio as Benfica fee emerges | OneFootball

According to CNN Portugal, Besiktas are set to pay around €20m for Lukebakio.

The Belgium international, 28, only arrived at Benfica a year ago and is close to joining as the Istanbul side look to strengthen the right wing.

There is no final agreement yet, but relations between the clubs are good and the deal should be finalised this week.

The proposed fee is broadly in line with what Benfica paid Sevilla for the former La Liga forward last season.

Lukebakio, capped 33 times by Belgium, is under contract in Lisbon until June 2030 but could leave after a campaign in which he scored one goal in 33 appearances.

This season he has four outings, one as a starter, with a goal against Hearts in a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the third qualifying round, and an assist against St Gallen in a 5-0 win.
