Betis Sevilla and Lens have shown interest in Marseille prospect Antoine Valero, 18, with clubs eyeing his contract situation.
According to L'Équipe, Marseille face a hectic run-in before the window closes on the evening of the first of September and could yet lose a homegrown talent.
Valero is not yet part of Bruno Genesio’s first-team plans. A powerful striker and France U19 call-up, he has been attracting attention on the youth market.
He remains on a trainee deal until June 2028 and has not signed professional terms. Marseille are understood to have offered a first contract in recent days, while rivals have moved quickly.
Betis Sevilla are said to particularly like his profile and, after sounding him out, could approach Marseille with a medium-term La Liga plan. Lens have monitored him in U19 and National 2. Troyes are also considering an approach for the high-potential forward.
