Cody Drameh has suffered an injury blow which may halt Stoke City's pursuit of the right-back
Hull City right-back Cody Drameh is set for a spell on the sidelines, which may see potential suitors, Stoke City, pull out of the race for the 24-year-old.
Hull City's injury woes go from bad to worse, with right-back Cody Drameh set for a spell on the sidelines after a fresh injury.
Drameh joins a long list of Tigers players out with injury, as Sergej Jakirovic must try to find a way to manoeuvre around a particularly difficult period, though they may not be the only club hit with this latest injury blow to the right-back.
Championship rivals Stoke were said to be keen on bringing the former Leeds United and Fulham defender to the Potteries this January to ease their own injury crisis, but this latest revelation may mean a deal is no longer on the cards.

Stoke, like Hull, remain within touching distance of the play-off places, with just one point separating the two clubs who sit in 8th and 7th, respectively.
The busy festive period has taken its toll on squads around the Championship, with Stoke no different to that trend, having suffered injuries to all their senior full-backs at the club.
Eric Bocat and Aaron Cresswell at left-back have both spent time out of action in recent weeks, whilst Junior Tchamadeu sustained an injury whilst away with Cameroon at AFCON, having to be stretchered off against Morocco, though the extent of his injury remains unknown for now.
This has meant that both Bosun Lawal, Maksym Talovierov, and Ben Gibson have all had to cover at full-back in that period, with the latter, Gibson, also sustaining an injury, leaving Mark Robins' side extremely short in that area of the pitch.
The Potters, as well as being linked with Drameh, have also been linked with Manchester United's Harry Amass, who impressed in the first of the season on loan with Sheffield Wednesday.
Now, with this fresh injury to Drameh, it looks unlikely that any deal between the two clubs will go forward, as doubts over a switch had already come into play after Hull boss Jakirovic claimed the right-back now wanted to remain at the club.
Jakirovic said, "He's happy here. He will be here with us. He's our player, and that's it. I'm counting on him, and this is it. Yeah, he told me (he wants to stay)."
Indeed, with the fresh injury, if a move wasn't ruled out before, it almost certainly is now, with Stoke having to turn their attentions elsewhere to solve their own injury crisis.

Following the arrival of Gavin Bazunu on loan from Southampton for the rest of the season after Viktor Johansson picked up a bad shoulder injury, Stoke now have just two loan spots remaining.
Ashley Phillips and Divin Mubama are the other two, with Jamie Donley's tenure from Spurs having come to a premature end after a lack of game time at the bet365 Stadium.
This means that with just over two weeks to go until the winter window comes to a dramatic close, manager Robins must identify an alternative to Drameh to fix the cursed full-back role in the Potteries.
Stoke will be hoping for swift returns to the likes of Bocat, Cresswell, and Tchamadeu ahead of the next block of fixtures, as although Lawal and Talovierov have performed out-of-position admirably, the natural full-back's absence is still felt.
The Drameh deal appears to have gone flat following this latest injury revelation, though Stoke must not stop in their pursuit of reinforcements at full-back, with the top six within arm's length.
