Birmingham City Tipped As Likely Destination For PL Club’s Star | OneFootball

Birmingham City are emerging as Liam Millar’s likely destination if he leaves Premier League side Hull City before the transfer window shuts, according to journalist Alex Crook.

Hull City saw off competition from Leeds United and Sunderland to sign Millar from Swiss side FC Basel during the summer transfer window of 2024.

The Canadian slowly established himself as a reliable attacking outlet for the Tigers, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 33 Championship appearances last term.

This Premier League season, the winger scored the winner in the 82nd minute against Coventry City, with Hull City winning the game 1-0.

Despite that, the 26-year-old could be on his way out of the Tigers, with Birmingham City showing interest in the winger on deadline day.

It has been suggested that Birmingham City are emerging as Millar’s likely destination if he leaves Hull City before the transfer window closes.

Following the departure of Keshi Anderson during the winter transfer window and Ibrahim Osman’s return to Brighton after his loan spell, Blues have been looking to strengthen their options on the left wing.

Millar’s experience in helping a Championship team get promoted to the Premier League has made him an attractive prospect for Birmingham City.

The Tigers are also working to replace the Canadian should he leave before the transfer window shuts, and are keen on securing Sorba Thomas, who is also trying to force a move from Stoke City to Hull City.

If Thomas moves to Hull City then that could unlock a move for Millar to Birmingham City.

Blues are also likely to see an exit today for striker Marvin Ducksch, with it being suggested the German striker has been told he can leave on a free transfer.

Ducksch, who is a target for a host of clubs from Germany, has been keen to move on frim Birmingham City ever since they failed to win promotion last term.
