Juventus have been handed a major fitness blow after it was revealed that Kenan Yildiz has suffered an injury that could keep him out of action for several months.
Yildiz did not finish the match against Frosinone at the weekend, but most fans believed the decision to take him off was tactical. Very few would have expected that he might have suffered a serious injury, which has now proved to be the case.
More tests will be conducted on the attacker, but the initial diagnosis is not positive. Goal says Yildiz could miss more than two months of action, leaving Juventus facing a significant setback at the start of the season.
The injury comes at a difficult time for the Bianconeri, who want to make a strong start to the campaign. Juventus were among the top teams in the division after the opening week, but they will now have to cope without arguably their best and most reliable attacker.
Yildiz’s importance to the team was evident during the final weeks of last season when he was previously unavailable. His absence was reflected in Juventus’ results, and it was one of the reasons the Bianconeri surprisingly dropped points and failed to secure a place in the top four.
That experience will make the latest injury particularly concerning for Juventus. They know how difficult it can be to maintain their level without Yildiz, and his potential absence for more than two months could create another major challenge for the team.
The attacker has become an important part of Juventus’ plans, meaning his absence will place greater responsibility on the other players in the squad. They will need to step up and ensure the team can continue producing positive results.

The coming weeks will therefore provide an important test for the Bianconeri. They have ambitions for the season, but they must now prove that they are not too dependent on one player.
Juventus will have to find a way to remain competitive while Yildiz recovers from his injury. His absence could make their matches more difficult, but the team has an opportunity to show that it can still deliver strong performances without him.
If the initial diagnosis is accurate, Yildiz could be sidelined for a considerable period. Juventus must therefore adapt quickly and ensure that his absence does not have the same impact on their results as it did towards the end of last season.
