Boca made hard work of it, but beat O'Higgins on pens in Sudamericana

Boca suffered greatly, but in the penalty shootout they managed to beat O’Higgins 4-3 to get through the Copa Sudamericana playoff round, a match in which the home side won 1-0 to force the shootout from the spot at El Teniente Stadium in Rancagua.

In a match with few real thrills, La Celeste found the winning goal through Francisco González and forced a dramatic finish in which Lautaro Blanco scored the decisive penalty to send Xeneize into the round of 16, where they will face Recoleta.
