According to Football Italia, Bologna coach Tedesco has been banned for two matches and fined €5,000, while president Joey Saputo is suspended until September 30 for offences against match officials. Atalanta midfielder Gianluca Gaetano received a one-game ban and a €10,000 fine.

The Lega Serie A disciplinary commission issued its Week three verdicts after Monday evening's matches.

Bologna drew 2-2 with Sassuolo, and Tedesco was dismissed for dissent. The officials' reports state he continued his protests in the tunnel, resulting in a two-match Serie A ban and €5,000 fine.

Saputo was punished for using offensive language towards the officials on the touchline and for continuing this behaviour in the tunnel. He is suspended until September 30.

Gaetano was sanctioned for insulting the referee at the final whistle of Atalanta's defeat to Roma, bringing a one-match ban and €10,000 fine. He had been shown the red card, although coach Maurizio Sarri denied there had been any insults.
