Bookmakers have issued strong backing to Leeds United against rivals such as Everton, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest in their projected final table for 2026-27, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.
The shift follows a late double swoop for French talent on deadline day, with left back Melvin Bard arriving from Nice and young attacker Jean-Matteo Bahoya joining from Eintracht Frankfurt.
They add to earlier summer recruits Harry Wilson, Tarik Muharemovic, James Trafford, Nico Elvedi and Michael Zetterer, while Pascal Struijk, Karl Darlow, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Joel Piroe had already departed.
Willy Gnonto left on deadline day, leaving United’s squad markedly reshaped for the new Premier League campaign.
At the top end of the market, Arsenal are 10-11 favourites, ahead of Manchester City at 7-2, Chelsea 6-1, Liverpool 16-1, Manchester United 20-1 and Tottenham 100-1.
Daniel Farke’s side visit Brighton on Saturday for their second away game of the season.
