According to Marca, Carlo Ancelotti will extend his contract as head coach of the Brazilian national team until 2030. The outlet reports that the Brazilian Football Confederation is on the verge of finalizing a new deal with the Italian tactician, who took charge of the Seleção just a few months ago following his stint at Real Madrid.

Appointed as head coach, Ancelotti initially signed a contract running through the 2026 World Cup. That deal was valued at €10 million per year, with an additional bonus should he lead Brazil to global glory. According to Marca, this extension aims to secure Ancelotti at the helm of the five-time world champions for the long term, beyond the 2026 World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
