Things are suddenly moving very quickly in the crazy situation around Enzo Maresca.
Just a few weeks ago he looked to have cemented his long term future at Chelsea – everything was going well, results were good, he was ticking all the boxes for the ownership and looked set for a long stay at an increasingly stable Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca being considered as a future Man City manager claims David Ornstein.

Chelsea are doing a festive series of features on their websites where they ask players for their best Christmas memories, and while Benoit Badiashile isn’t much of a raconteur, he did have some sweet things to say.
Maresca did his best Pep Guardiola impression after Chelsea’s win over Cardiff in midweek, claiming he was “very happy” while looking anything but. It was as unsettling as you could imagine…
