Brenden Aaronson misses USA training for wedding

Brenden Aaronson missed USA training in Atlanta on Friday as the squad stepped up World Cup preparations.

According to The Athletic, Mauricio Pochettino approved a trip to Medford, New Jersey so the Leeds United midfielder could get married.

Aaronson was due back in training on Saturday.

USA face Senegal on Sunday evening at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He had been named in Pochettino’s USA squad on Tuesday, with the States set for two more games before this summer’s World Cup begins on home soil.
