Erik Bretos enters his second summer overseeing Real Sociedad’s recruitment, charged with building a squad fit for four competitions. He previously led last season’s planning and the subsequent winter window.

According to AS, last summer brought Soler, Guedes, Caleta-Car and Yangel, then Wesley Gassova arrived in the winter window.

This time the priority is the back line, with targets such as Lautaro Rivero or Kolasinac under consideration, plus a right-back and an attacking addition.
