Brighton & Hove Albion have announced the shock departure of head coach Dario Vidošić.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this morning.

Brighton & Hove Albion appointed Vidošić in summer 2024. He guided the club to fifth and seventh-place finishes in the Barclays Women’s Super League while Brighton & Hove Albion were Adobe Women’s FA Cup finalists for the very first time last season. The Sussex club have proved that they can compete with the very best on their day.

Vidošić has guided Brighton & Hove Albion through their pre-season programme but he is now leaving the club prior to the start of the 2026/2027 campaign.

After his exit was announced, Vidošić said “I have loved my time at the Albion and am proud of what we have achieved together. Leaving has been a difficult decision, but I believe it is the right time for me and my family to begin a new chapter.

“I would like to thank the players, staff and supporters for their support throughout my time at the club and wish everyone associated with Albion every success in the future.”

Brighton & Hove Albion will now begin the process of recruiting a new head coach.
