Albion are in Tromso, and we are in the Arctic Circle as they begin their second European campaign. According to TheArgus.co.uk, we are reporting from Norway as the action gets under way.

On matchday we will be in town seeking the supporters bound for the 407-seater away end at the tiny Rommsa Arena, then bring live updates from the ground as the first leg plays out to decide who reaches the main stage of the Conference League.

We arrived on Wednesday evening and spotted a few Albion fans around the old waterfront. The local seagulls were in full voice, a small echo of home.

Earlier we reported that Lewis Dunk and the squad refunded fans’ match tickets and gifted each of the 407 travellers a scarf and T-shirt.

We are the only local media at the game and look forward to sharing this unprecedented away trip. Albion have come a long way in Europe already, and we will see how far the next six months can take them.
