Burnley in talks to sign winger Rabbi Matondo

Burnley are reportedly in talks to sign former Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo according to reports.

The 25-year-old had most recently represented Norwegian side Brann but terminated his contract with the club late in August after just five months at the club.

Now the former Cardiff City and Manchester City academy player could be set to return to English football. According to journalist Pete O'Rourke, Burnley – who recently made the signing of free agent Jamie Vardy – are in talks to sign the player.

The Clarets could have competition though with Belgian sides Cercle Brugge and Zulte Waregem also said to be interested.
