The lineup for the CAF Champions League quarter-finals is gradually taking shape, with some teams having already punched their ticket ahead of the final round of the group stage.
At this stage, two clubs have secured their place among the competition's elite eight: Al Ahly, officially qualified, and Pyramids FC, who are mathematically through.
Al Ahly sealed their qualification after a goalless draw (0-0) against JS Kabylie. Meanwhile, Pyramids FC are set to face Rivers United, having already locked down the top spot in Group A with a total of 10 points.
In contrast, Renaissance de Berkane missed a golden opportunity to clinch qualification on Saturday, falling away to Zambia’s Power Dynamos by a score of 2-0.
AS FAR, for their part, pulled off a crucial win at home against Young Africans (1-0), reigniting their hopes in the race for a quarter-final berth.
The teams reaching the quarter-finals will be split into two pots:
the first will include group winners, while the second will consist of the runners-up.
The draw will be structured to prevent teams from the same group facing each other, ensuring fairness and balance in the quarter-final matchups.
