Cagliari have set their sights on 19-year-old De Graafschap right-back, Othniël Raterink, with the teenager having impressed in the Netherlands’ second division.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the deal is being finalised following positive discussions between the parties. The Sardinian club are expected to complete all the details on Thursday, January 29th.

The promising young defender has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season and has scored three goals and provided four assists in 22 Eerste Divisie games.
Previously, the Netherlands youth international was with Bayer Leverkusen’s academy. Now, though, there’s the chance to see him in Italy under Fabio Pisacane, joining the Rossoblù and helping the club achieve Serie A safety as quickly as possible.
