Going through a controversial spell behind the scenes at Flamengo, Gonzalo Plata played a part in Ecuador’s 1-1 draw with Morocco this Friday (27). Three minutes into the second half, John Yeboah found the Flamengo forward inside the box, and he held the ball up and laid it off to his teammate. Plata then finished left-footed with class, opening the scoring for Ecuador.
