Cameroon continued their blistering start to this home African Cup of Nations with an east 4-1 win over Ethiopia.
Scorers: Ekambi 10′ 67′, Aboubakar 51′ 54′; Dukele 4′
It was the minnows who got off to the perfect start as Dawa Dukele ghosted into the area and swept an effort past Andre Onana in the Cameroon goal.
But the host nation soon got their equaliser as Lyon midfielder Karl Ekambi got on the end of a cross and headed home.
Ekambi was at the heart of the action again near half time as his header from eight yards out crashed back off the left-hand post.
After the break the Indomitable Lions did get their second as Vincent Aboubakar got on the end of a cross and headed brilliantly into the back of the net.
And Aboubakar was at it again soon after as he got his second of the game through an easy, close-range tap-in.
Ekambi wasn’t to be outdone though, and also got his second of the game as he cut in from the right-hand side and finished well.
