According to the Arabic-language site almountakhab, Dutch club SC Cambuur has received official correspondence from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), notifying them of their young defender's inclusion in Morocco’s preliminary squad for AFCON 2025.

This is a tremendous achievement for the 19-year-old, who was one of the driving forces behind the “Lion Cubs” triumph at the U20 World Cup.

What should you know about Ismaël Baouf?

After spells with Olympic Charleroi (2016), RSC Charleroi (2016-2022), and RSC Anderlecht (2022-2023), he joined Dutch side SC Cambuur during the last summer transfer window.
