Morocco's Atlas Lions head coach Walid Regragui faced the media on Tuesday. The tactician was questioned about rumors regarding his potential dismissal, especially in the wake of a 1-1 draw against Mali that followed a 2-0 group stage victory over Comoros at this CAN 2025.

"I have only lost four times in three and a half years, and I took my country to the semi-finals of the World Cup [2022] and the CAN [2025]. In reality, no one should be talking, but in Morocco, it's different, and you have to accept it. I hope the next coach does even better than I have," Regragui said, anticipating a possible dismissal.

Morocco later confirmed their form with a 3-0 win over Zambia, followed by a narrow 1-0 victory over Tanzania in the round of 16, and then a 2-0 triumph over Cameroon in the quarter-finals. Tomorrow, the Lions face Nigeria in the semi-final.
