The 20 players who could miss the final if booked

The semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) will be played this Wednesday, January 14, 2025, featuring two mouth-watering clashes: Egypt vs Senegal and Nigeria vs Morocco.
A total of 20 players are at risk of missing a potential final if they pick up a yellow card this Wednesday. Senegal leads the list with the most players in danger, including key figures Kalidou Koulibaly, Pape Gueye, Ismail Jakobs, Habib Diarra, and Nicolas Jackson.
Egypt, on the other hand, will also be nervously watching six players, including goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy, defender Rami Rabia, and midfielder Marwan Attia.
Seven players are walking a disciplinary tightrope in the second semi-final, with four Super Eagles and three Atlas Lions at risk.
Here are the 20 players at risk of suspension:
Senegal (7): Kalidou Koulibaly, Ismail Jakobs, Pape Gueye, Habib Diarra, Habib Diallo, Nicolas Jackson, and Ibrahim Mbaye.
Egypt (6): Mohamed El Shenawy, Ahmed Fatouh, Rami Rabia, Marwan Attia, Hamdi Fathi, and Hossam Abdelmaguid.
Nigeria (4): Stanley Nwabali, Calvin Bassey, Moses Simon, and Frank Onyeka.
