With the UEFA Women's Champions League League Phase now over and qualification for the play-offs secured, the Bianconere will end 2025 with their first match as defending champions in the Women’s Italian Cup.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, December 21 at 14:30 CET in Cesena. This is the round of 16 of the competition, which will be available to watch on the newly launched Juventus Play, on the Club's official YouTube channel and on the Juventus Women TikTok account.

Massimiliano Canzi previewed the game in his usual pre-match interview.

THE DEBUT IN THE ITALIAN CUP

"It's a one-off match, so we have to get things right on the day. They are in a lower league than us, but opponents must always be respected because you never know what can happen. Cesena is a team that is doing well in the league, we will give it our all, giving minutes, as is normal, to those who have had less so far, even if in our case many players have always been part of the rotation. There will certainly be some changes, but the match must be approached with maximum effort."

THE UWCL JOURNEY AND WOLFSBURG

"Being among the elite of European football is clearly a source of great pride. We hoped to achieve even more, but what we have already achieved is a great result. Whichever team we faced in the next round would certainly have been top-level. Wolfsburg is a big club that has won the Champions League; it's a big name in women's football, but that doesn't mean we're starting out defeated.”

END-OF-YEAR REVIEW

“We had a great run in the Champions League and won the first competition of the year [Italian Super Cup]. We probably dropped a few too many points in the league. I think we could have done better than we did because, in some games, we played well but didn't get much out of it. But that's part of the game. We have to keep playing well and performing at a high level, and I'm sure we'll be in contention at the end of the season.”
