Big win for Bournemouth as draw for round four begins to take shape
Crystal Palace and Newcastle are among the teams safely through to the Carabao Cup fourth round.
On a night of no shocks in round three, Palace put three past Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough at Selhurst Park as Jorgen Strand Larsen went some way to answering his critics with a brace and an assist for Daichi Kamada.
Also in the hat for the fourth round draw is 2025 winners Newcastle as they needed an 81st minute winner from Joe Willock to overcome Millwall at The Den.

In the all-Premier League clash at the Stadium of Light, Chemsdine Talbi scored the only goal of the game as Sunderland became the first side to breach newly-promoted Hull City’s defence this season.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth recorded a routine 4-0 win at home to Lincoln with Ryan Christie netting a hat-trick to earn the plaudits from Marco Rose.
“Ryan is a nice guy. We really love him and he deserved it. He came back from an injury, worked hard and now he’s back in shape,” the Bournemouth boss told reporters.
“It’s good for us because the upcoming time is really busy and we need everyone.
“In the next few weeks we have European football, cups in England and the Premier League is getting very demanding.
“I’m new in this club, new in this country, but it’s about winning games and winning titles.”
Leyton Orient’s hopes of a cup run looked positive after taking the lead in the 38th minute against Bradford, only for Will Swan to equalise on the stroke of half-time before the visitors ran away with the game in the second half.
