Casper Tengstedt joins Toulouse from Feyenoord as sixth summer signing | OneFootball

Toulouse have confirmed the signing of striker Casper Tengstedt from Feyenoord, two days after their 2-2 draw with Brest.

He becomes the club’s sixth summer signing. He is the third Scandinavian addition, alongside Rasmus Nicolaisen and Thomas Jörgensen, who arrived around 10 days ago from Viborg.

The 26-year-old joins after a season at Feyenoord and will wear number 20 in purple. He will work under Jens Berthel Askou.

Raised at Midtjylland, he truly emerged at Horsens before moving to Rosenborg. This next step will see him play in a sixth different league.

His performances in Trondheim drew interest from several leading clubs, with Benfica foremost among them. He has already visited the Stadium, facing TFC in the Europa League with the Lisbon side.
