Casseres wants out, Restes set to stay as Toulouse rebuild | OneFootball

Toulouse have banked over €90m this summer and begun a rebuild, with Cristian Casseres pushing to leave and Guillaume Restes likely to stay another year. According to L'Équipe, they have reinvested over €15m on Christ Tapé, Sion Oppong and Thomas Jörgensen, with new coach Jens Berthel Askou moving on from Djibril Sidibé and keeping Casseres for now.

The 26-year-old midfielder, contracted to 2027 and capped 44 times by Venezuela, has not accepted an extension because he still plans to go. After interest from Lens, Lyon, Olympiakos and Sassuolo, Lille are the latest to show strong interest, though no bid has arrived.
