Castellón claimed victory over Huesca, with Alberto, Pablo Santiago and Camara among the standouts, despite Lucas Alcázar being sent off.
According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, goalkeeper Matthys handled a busy night well, conceding from close range after a fine stop and showing bravery with the ball at his feet. Mellot remained dependable despite second-half discomfort and finished the game. Brignani scored his second of the season from a set piece and paired well with Alberto, whose leadership included two near goal-line interventions.
Alcázar offered his usual endeavour until a red card for two almost identical bookings. Diego Barri controlled the midfield and kept errors to a minimum. Ronaldo Pompeu, a surprise starter, grew through the first half, delivered a set-piece assist and was withdrawn early.
Mabil began brightly, beat his marker and provided a measured assist before fading and making way. Cala impressed, scoring once, nearly adding two more and setting the tone out of possession. Pablo Santiago produced his best display for Castellón, scoring well and driving attacks from inside.
Camara missed the top grade due to a finishing error, yet he repeatedly overwhelmed his direct opponents and was involved in all four goals.
From the bench, Gere was competitive and sealed the contest with a neat goal. Mamah worked hard and switched flanks as needed. Salva Ruiz was tidy at the back and helped defend a man down, while Tincho added a nutmeg.
