CD Castellón have cancelled the season tickets of supporters implicated after six people were arrested in Castellón province. The arrests relate to an alleged assault on a UD Almería fan after the 9 June 2026 promotion play-off second leg to LaLiga EA Sports in Almería.
The club said in a statement that it is acting in line with a court order imposing precautionary stadium bans, and that it has revoked the passes of those involved. It added it will cooperate fully with the National Police and judicial authorities.
After the match at UD Almería Stadium, near the ground, an Almería supporter was surrounded, intimidated and assaulted by several alleged CD Castellón ultras. The victim fled back towards the stadium, where police units assisted him.
Police identified the alleged Frente Orellut group, previously linked to public disorder, among whom was the suspected aggressor. As a result, Operación Kastali was opened, and investigators identified the suspects, leading to the arrests.
Following their court appearance, a judge imposed restraining orders keeping them away from Estadio SkyFi Castalia in the hours before, during and after any sporting event. The same terms apply to any stadium where CD Castellón play, whether official or friendly.
CD Castellón reiterated its complete rejection of violence inside and outside the ground.
