El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that the State Commission against Violence has classed the first leg of the LaLiga EA Sports promotion play-off between CD Castellón and UD Almería as high risk. Castellón will halt all ticket sales, in person and online, on Saturday six June, the matchday.
The move is designed to control access for home and away supporters and prevent incidents. Under Law 19/2007, fans located outside their allocated sections could be expelled from SkyFi Castalia as relocations are not possible. The club asks attendees to respect their zones and follow security staff instructions.
For the return fixture, UD Almería vs CD Castellón, scheduled Tuesday nine June at 21:00 at UD Almería Stadium, visiting fans will only be able to enter the away sector. That area will be managed by CD Castellón once UD Almería opens general sale. This is to ensure correct placement and reduce risk during travel and at the ground.
CD Castellón notes it is not responsible if access is denied under Law 19/2007 to anyone who bought tickets in home areas or outside official channels. To attend in Almería, supporters must purchase official tickets via the club’s subscribers’ area and present identification at the entrance.
The club urges fans to plan ahead and comply with all safety measures so both play-off matches can be enjoyed in a safe, controlled environment. Cooperation from supporters is considered essential to ensure the ties proceed without incident.
