Celtic ‘can’t even sign their own player’ is comedy gold as Rangers fans enjoy moment

It is not often Ibrox Noise discusses Celtic or how Martin O’Neill is no Wilfried Nancy. It really is not. Unlike the number of times we see Celtic view every time we search for Rangers on Google, we do not talk about that lot much at all.
The last time we discussed Celtic was during the hilarity of the Nancy era. That was comedy gold. We were quite entitled to have a jolly good laugh about it. We have conceded that they have upped their game with Martin O’Neill. However, there is no denying their hordes are not happy right now.
It is a rare occasion that Ibrox Noise will indulge a quick discussion on events there and how they relate to us. This is, of course, a Rangers website. That is our primary objective. However, occasionally looking across the garden fence to see what the neighbours are doing is relevant. It does matter what the rivals are up to now and again.
Plus the hilarity at the moment is the fact their fans are far from happy with current events. The fact is they have signed one guy on loan. Some chap from Greece, we think. We cannot actually remember. They are unhappy because the only other deal was a failed attempt to loan their own player back.
Some player called Stephen, we think his name was. They tried to recall him from loan but failed miserably. They cannot even sign their own players. That sums up where they currently are.
Their squad is not a bad one. Moreveover Martin O’Neill will get more out of it. January is the time for top ups and freshness. Timmy is not happy with his club signing no one of any gravity.
We have seen countless screenshots of their rage over who Rangers are signing. Quality players from Germany, Austria and Belgium. Talented players arriving at decent prices. It is clearly Rangers’ best January window. Probably of all time aside from January 2007.
That window brought Ugo Ehiogu, David Weir and Kevin Thomson. Overnight, Rangers became the best team in Scotland. We are not sure these signings will match that. Time will tell.
That lot across the city are not happy. It is glorious. They feel their club is being run into the ground. As we know, ‘sack the bored‘. Consequently, Rangers are in a better position right now.
We have signed players. Most fans are happy with the manager. The team is winning. We already discussed how Rangers are the form team in Scotland over the last fifteen matches. That is impressive. Especially given we were eleventh at one point with the vegan.
We will never stop laughing at Celtic. And why should we. They are struggling. They are unhappy with what is not happening in January. As long as that remains the case, they weaken themselves.
That said, we will never underestimate Martin O’Neill. He can get a lot out of what he has. He did massive work in 2000. That was 26 years ago. MON used to have a big budget. He does not have that now.
We can already tell he will not be easily trifled with. Martin O’Neill is no Wilfried Nancy. He has lost one match since returning (both spells). He has won every other game. That is a decent record. So furthermore time will tell what happens under him. For now, we enjoy their fans raging at a ‘bored’ doing nothing.
