Chelsea place Mamadou Sarr on transfer list | OneFootball

Mamadou Sarr’s (20) future is increasingly looking like it lies away from Chelsea. There has been an assumption that his departure would only be temporary. It was reported by Foot Mercato that the Senegal international was the subject of interest from Real Sociedad, who were looking to sign him on a loan deal.

Last season, he spent part of the campaign back on loan at RC Strasbourg Alsace. However, he returned to Stamford Bridge mid-season. The defender struggled, however, notably in the UEFA Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. It is now reported by Sacha Tavolieri that Sarr has been placed on the transfer list; the centre-back is available on a permanent transfer this summer. 

Transfer listed one year into eight-year deal

Tavolieri adds that talks are ongoing and Sarr is not willing to just accept any project. The former France youth international only signed an eight-year deal with Chelsea last summer.
