Chermiti and Miovski spearhead Rangers surge to go second

Rangers came from two down to beat Falkirk 6-3 on Sunday at the Falkirk Stadium, climbing from third to second in the Scottish Premiership.
Ben Broggio put The Bairns ahead in the sixth minute from Calvin Miller's cross, and Finn Yeats doubled the lead (26.). Moments later, Thelo Aasgaard hit the post before Tochi Chukwuani pulled one back (42.).
After the restart, Youssef Chermiti levelled from close range (47.) and Nicolas Raskin drove in the comeback goal (52.). Half-time substitute Bojan Miovski added a fourth with a near-post finish (58.).
Filip Lissah won a penalty after a foul by James Tavernier (68.). Miller converted from the spot (70.) to make it 4-3, but Chermiti quickly restored daylight (74.).
Miovski rounded it off late with his second (88.). Rangers registered 20 attempts with nine on target, 18 of them from inside the box. The Bairns produced seven attempts. Miller, who assisted the opener, leads the Premiership assists chart with nine.
Next, The Bairns visit Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Cup. Rangers host Motherwell next.
