We have reached the final day of 2025, a moment when it becomes inevitable to look back and review everything we experienced in a year that flew by. Without a doubt, we lived 52 weeks full of emotions alongside Chivas Femenil, who kept us on the edge of our seats at all times, with feelings running high match after match.
It was a year of tremendous hard work for El Rebaño, built on effort and resilience, allowing the team to improve week by week throughout the Clausura and Apertura 2025 tournaments. As a result of that consistency, Antonio Contreras’ side can proudly say it ranked among several of the Liga MX Femenil’s top teams. So you don’t miss a single detail, here is the full breakdown.
Second-Best Defense in 2025
With solid off-the-ball work, Las Rojiblancas finished the year having conceded just 37 goals in the 42 matches they played, joining Tigres as the only two teams to allow fewer goals than games played. This means Guadalajara conceded one goal every 102 minutes in 2025.
It is worth remembering that Chivas were the best defensive team in the Clausura 2025 with only 10 goals conceded, while they finished second in the Apertura 2025 in the same category, with 17 goals allowed.
Top 5 in Most Wins During the Year
The Guadalajara side also ranked among the teams with the most victories in 2025. With a total of 21 wins across the Regular Season, Antonio Contreras’ team won 50% of the matches they played. They also finished fifth in total points accumulated across both tournaments of the year, with 63 points overall.
Top 4 in Fewest Losses in 2025
Chivas Femenil combined the two previous categories to earn another top ranking, as they were one of the teams that lost the fewest matches during the year. El Rebaño suffered just 10 defeats in 2025, down from the 12 they recorded in 2024.
A Semifinal Year
Finally, Guadalajara remained a serious contender in the women’s league, reaching the Semifinals in both tournaments, something they had not achieved since 2022.
