The talents of Alan Mozo have become a staple for Pumas in Liga MX and subsequently have piqued the interest of Chivas.
The 23-year-old right-back has featured in eleven matches for Andres Lillini’s side and impressed on the pitch.
According to journalist Jesús Hernández, Chivas attempted to sign Mozo in the last transfer window but were unsuccessful.
Given the player’s recent performances, which include him bagging two assists, it is likely Víctor Manuel Vucetich will maintain interest in January.
Signing Mozo would help Chivas add youth to their spectacular defence as their current right-backs Jesús Sánchez and José Madueña are aged 31 and 30, respectively.
Mozo’s contract with Pumas currently runs until June 2023.
