Club América face Chivas in Oakland friendly, kick-off time and TV details | OneFootball

Club América meet Chivas tonight in a friendly in Oakland, with recent debuts and a returning goalkeeper under the spotlight.

According to Americayya.net, América arrive after a 0-0 friendly draw with Cruz Azul that featured first outings for Santiago Mingo and Santiago Bueno, a start for Franco Rossano and the comeback of Luis Ángel Malagón.

Bueno and Mingo are set to be the starting centre-back pairing in the coming matches. They looked short of rhythm but showed the tools to form a strong duo. Rossano finally saw minutes after spells when Kevin Álvarez and Dagoberto Espinoza were used on the left, and he impressed.

Malagón returned to the XI after seven months out and performed well, making several important saves to secure a clean sheet.

Against Chivas, Almada may tweak selections, though the aim of these games is for new signings to build rhythm ahead of the final stretch of the Apertura 2026.

Ruled out for this match: Israel Reyes, Isaías Violante, Dagoberto Espinoza, Oscar Perea and Brian Rodríguez.

A probable line-up features Malagón in goal. Mingo partners Emilio Lara at centre-back, with Álvarez at right-back and Cristian Borja on the left. Alan Cervantes links with Erik Sánchez in midfield, Carlos Álvarez and Alejandro Zendejas operate wide, and Miguel Borja joins Henry Martín up front.

Kick-off is at 7:00pm, central Mexico time. In Mexico the match is on TUDN and VIX, and in the United States it is on TUDN USA.
