Benfica sit 17th in the European ranking for qualification to the 2029 Club World Cup, which currently keeps them inside the provisional places.

According to Glorioso 1904, the table is built on recent UEFA Champions League results from the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.

Benfica reached the play-off this term and the round of 16 last season, collecting enough points to remain among the eligible clubs.

Final qualification will also apply a limit of two clubs per country, and forthcoming European campaigns could still reshape the standings.

Teams already assured of participation include Paris Saint-Germain, Flamengo, Al-Ahli, Pyramids and Cruz Azul, after winning their respective continental competitions.

With the ranking still in flux, Benfica retain a favourable position but must back it up in the next European campaigns to clinch a berth.
