Collectif Ultras Paris plan to boycott Sunday’s Trophée des champions between PSG and Lens, set for 20:45 at Bollaert-Delelis. The move follows a Ligue de Football Professionnel draw that placed the game in Lens.

According to L'Équipe, the Paris supporters group do not intend to travel for the fixture.

In a statement on Sunday night, the CUP set out its view that this type of match should be staged on neutral ground, with an equal allocation of tickets for both clubs.

The group also castigated LFP leaders, describing the choice to use a draw to decide the venue as outlandish and arguing their incompetence no longer needs proving.

The Ligue had initially aimed to hold the Trophée des champions abroad, receiving proposals from Congo Brazzaville and Côte d’Ivoire and sending a delegation to the latter. After several OL Lyonnes players returned ill from Abidjan, where they beat Paris 1-0 in March’s Coupe de la Ligue final, the plan cooled and a draw was held in early June.
