Colombia call up midfielder, Corinthians now have 11 on FIFA duty

Corinthians has reached the milestone of 11 players called up for the first FIFA Date of the season, with a highlight on forward Gisela Robledo, called by the Colombian national team to compete in the SheBelieves Cup in the United States.

Robledo will have three commitments with Colombia in March: the debut is scheduled for March 1st against Canada, in the state of Tennessee; on the 4th, she will face Argentina in Columbus; and on the 7th, the opponent will be the United States, in Harrison.

Besides her, Corinthians will also have eight players called up by the Brazilian National Team for the FIFA Date friendlies: Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Gi Fernandes, Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio, Gabi Zanotti, and Jaqueline. Forward Dayana Rodríguez will represent Venezuela, while Belén Aquino was called up by the Uruguayan national team.

These 11 players will be absent from the club's training sessions in the coming days, during a period when the team already has a new coaching staff following the departure of Lucas Piccinato, announced in the early hours. While the club has not yet officially announced the new coach, the tendency is for Julia Passero, the current Under-20 coach, to take over temporarily.

The women's team returns to the field on March 13th, when they will face Palmeiras at Arena Barueri, for the third round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship, a classic that promises to define the leadership of the competition.
