Real Madrid are not only eyeing new signings for the summer but also the potential return of some prodigal academy talents who are shining outside the club.
Nico Paz, for starters, is rumouredly set to return to Real Madrid from Como in June to add creative depth to the department as the club value his growth and output in the Serie A
Another former player in Como who they value is Jacobo Ramon, the academy’s young centre-back talent who has become a bona fide starter for the team.
His future, however, has remained a topic for debate with reports of a return and those of him staying in Italy conflicting.
Speaking to the media in a recent interview, Como manager Cesc Fabregas was asked about the future of the young defender, especially given incessant links with a move back to Real Madrid.
Fabregas did not hesitate and dropped the bombshell, virtually confirming the player’s future and that he would continue to be in Italy.

It remains unknown if Real Madrid and Como have an agreement over the minimum duration of Ramon’s spell in Italy or whether the manager is speaking out of knowledge of the player’s own decision.
In any case, such an open declaration from the manager of Como all but confirms that the centre-back will continue his development for another year at least, and thus will not be an option for the club in June.
The 21-year-old’s current contract with Como runs until 2030 and Real Madrid have an option to buy him back in the coming transfer windows for a sum of close to €8 million.
Los Blancos, however, also see a rationale for him to stay in the Serie A longer and hone his skills and may well cooperate with Fabregas’ idea.
