Complaint alleges Barcelona amateur team linked to Vox breaches democratic memory law | OneFootball

ERA Abogados has lodged a complaint with the Barcelona provincial prosecutor, alleging an amateur side is breaching the democratic memory law through its identity. The club is called Mingorrubio Balompié.

According to SER Catalunya, the side is entered in a private league due to be played in the Horta neighbourhood. Its 11 members include Vox's provincial vice-president Juan Cremades and Sarrià district councillor Carlos Oliva, and former PP councillor in Premià de Dalt, Bernabé Ruffo.

Firm director Eduardo Ranz has submitted the complaint to the delegated prosecutor's specialised human rights and democratic memory unit in Barcelona province.

The firm has also written to the Real Federación Española de Fútbol and filed a petition with Barcelona City Council.

Until a few days ago, the team's crest carried the wording F.C. Bayern de los Caídos.
