Wolves are looking to pick up three points for the first time this season as they face Preston, but they will have to do so without five players.
Wolves are looking to pick up their first Championship win of the season on Saturday, as they make the trip to Lancashire to take on Preston North End.
Following their relegation to the Championship, the Old Gold were back in second-tier action for the first time in eight years last Friday, as they welcomed Blackburn Rovers to Molineux.
After Marshall Munetsi gave Wolves the lead in the first half, Sean McLoughlin netted for Rovers before half-time, before Andri Gudjohnsen put the visitors ahead early in the second half.
Cesar Peixoto's side would breathe a sigh of relief in stoppage time, as Raul Jimenez equalised from the spot. Still, fans are desperate to see three points put on the board this weekend, easing the worries after the underwhelming opener.
As they look to do so, Wolves will have to go without five players, with the latest injury update from Compton Park being far from positive.
Ahead of Saturday's clash at Deepdale, Football League World takes a look at those from the Wolves camp set to miss the action.

Arriving on a free transfer from Newcastle, experienced right-back Kieran Trippier looked set to be one of the signings of the summer across the Championship.
After impressing against Port Vale in the Carabao Cup, the 35-year-old endured a mixed league debut against Blackburn before Jackson Tchatchoua replaced him in the 67th minute.
Now, the club have confirmed that this was due to an injury to his left MCL.
As reported by Liam Keen, the summer arrival is set to miss four to six weeks as a result, while director of performance, Phil Hayward, said: "Obviously, we'll push him as quickly as we can, but it's going to be a few weeks before he's back on the pitch unfortunately."

It was hard not to feel sorry for Yerson Mosquera on opening night, as he limped through the final stages of the match despite an obvious injury.
Now, it has been confirmed that he has suffered a high ankle injury, with the good news being that it is not a complete tear of the ligament.
Hayward said: "He'll be in a boot for the next couple of weeks and will then need a few weeks off training, unfortunately, so it's not great news."
As a result, Peixoto may call upon Santiago Bueno for his first start of the season, as the Uruguayan remains linked with a move away before deadline day, or he could opt to field Nasser Djiga, who spent last season on loan at Rangers.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde has never quite got going at Wolves since his 2023 move from Strasbourg.
Despite this, his talent is clear, and the Haiti international could be someone set to make a big impact in the second tier.
But he will not make his Championship debut just yet, as he continues to recover from a left hamstring injury suffered at the World Cup.
The midfielder is back on the pitch working with the ball, but will not rejoin the main squad for another few weeks.

It has been a frustrating period for wideman Rafiki Said, who joined Wolves from Standard Liege back in July.
Following his arrival, he suffered an MCL injury against Maidenhead in pre-season and is expected to miss at least two months.
Wolves struggled out wide against Blackburn, with Rodrigo Gomes in particular struggling to make an impact on the right.
As a result, the Old Gold are reportedly looking to strengthen, with links to Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry.
Frustratingly for Peixoto, he will be unable to test Said in the role for the time being, and won't be able to make a full judgement until his return - hopefully sooner rather than later.

The position between the sticks at Wolves has been a hot topic for two full seasons now.
With Jose Sa having the spot nailed down for three years, Gary O'Neil brought in Sam Johnstone in the summer of 2024, prompting a two-year battle between the pair.
And following their return to the Championship, Wolves still do not have a recognised number one, with Dan Bentley starting against Blackburn on opening night.
For both Sa and Johnstone, the future remains unclear, especially with the latter not being back to match fitness until next week - leaving Peixoto and the hierarchy with a big decision to make in the final week of the transfer window.
