Confirmed: Barcelona squad list to face Racing Santander | La Liga MD 6 | OneFootball

FC Barcelona are back in action later tonight at the Spotify Camp Nou as they host newly-promoted La Liga side Racing Santander in a Matchday 6 fixture.

This will be the Blaugrana’s penultimate fixture before the three-week international break set to kick off later this month and Hansi Flick & co. will be intent on extending their winning streak to seven games against the Cantabrian side.

Ahead of the game, the Barça manager has announced the squad list of players who will be available at his disposal for the match, with no new additions or absentees from the win over Levante.

Indeed, only Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji remain unavailable for Barcelona through injuries while Jesse Bisiwu’s wait for a first-team debut with the Catalans continues.

It will be interesting to see whether Flick makes some rotations to the team and hands chances to players who have not featured much in recent games.

Gavi, for one, will be hoping to get some minutes, while Alejandro Balde also waits for his first appearance of the season.

It will not come as a surprise to see the manager opt to rest one or both of Pedri and Rodri in midfield, considering that they have been permanent fixtures in the team game after game and could use a breather, especially with a tricky game against Sevilla up next.

Karim Adeyemi, who came off the bench to score at the weekend against Levante, could push for a start, while young midfield prospect Brian Farinas will also be gunning to make his official senior debut.
