FC Bayern play against Europa League winners Aston Villa in their fourth pre-season game. The Bavarians started their Asia tour with a 2-1 win over Jeju SK before traveling to Hong Kong, where they will meet the Premier League side in less than an hour.

Unai Emery’s men beat the Indonesian Liga 1 All-star 3-1 in their last friendly match. The two clubs met twice in the Champions League, with Aston Villa winning both 1-0. In a historic night for the club, they won the European Cup final beating Bayern in 1982.

Vincent Kompany’s troops also lost to the Villans in the most recent encounter in the first-ever league phase of the Champions League. As he promised after the game against K League 1 side Jeju SK, Kompany includes Germany internationals in his starting XI.

Manuel Neuer missed Tuesday’s game for load management, but he starts in goal, while Nathaniel Brown is set to play as a winger. Meanwhile, Arijon Ibrahimović will play as a false nine. Joshua Kimmich and Luis Diaz start on the bench.
