CONMEBOL appoints officials for Palmeiras v Cerro Porteño Libertadores last-16 tie

Palmeiras face Cerro Porteño in the Copa Libertadores last 16 on Wednesday 12 at 19:00 Brasília time.

CONMEBOL has appointed Uruguayan referee Gustavo Tejera for the tie, with compatriot Leodan Gonzalez in charge of VAR.

Tejera has overseen Palmeiras once, a 1-1 draw with Cerro Porteño in this season's group stage in Paraguay.

Palmeiras progressed as runners-up in their group, while Cerro Porteño finished top.

The clubs met twice in the groups, and Palmeiras failed to win either, losing at Nubank Parque in the other fixture.
