Conmebol announced on Friday that the 2026 Women’s Libertadores group-stage draw will take place in Luque, Paraguay, on Monday 14 September at 12:30 Brasília time.
The event will be streamed live on the Libertadores YouTube channel. As reigning champions after beating Colombia’s Deportivo Cali on penalties, Corinthians will be top seed in Group A.
The tournament features 16 clubs, with 10 places for member associations, four via historical ranking, one for the 2025 winners and one for the host nation.
Twelve teams are already confirmed. Brazil have Corinthians, Palmeiras and Cruzeiro, Argentina have Belgrano, Chile have Colo Colo and Universidad de Chile, Ecuador have Independiente del Valle and LDU, Paraguay have Libertad and Olimpia, with Universitario for Peru and Nacional for Uruguay. The pots have not yet been published.
This season’s competition is scheduled for 15 to 31 October in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. The champions will receive two million dollars, about R$ 10.2 million. The Brabas are the record winners with six titles, lifted in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Before then, Corinthians continue their Brasileiro Feminino push, hosting Cruzeiro at Canindé on Monday at 17:00 in the quarter-final second leg after a 1-0 win in the first.
